Stop everything! The special Raya collection we’re going to wear this season is finally here! When Ied is approaching we’re always eyeing on that upcoming exciting releases, and this one knocked our socks off to a whole other level. Collaboration between brands is always something that we’re looking for because you really don’t know what you’re going to get. So, when COTTONINK announced that their going to do a Hari Raya collab with the Mel Ahyar First for #COTTONINKxMAF collection, we were pumped!
For those who don’t know, Mel Ahyar has been known as one of the brightest designers in Indonesia’s fashion scene since her debut in 2006. Renowned for her combination of modern craftsmanship and twisted beauty, Mel went to Paris in 2004 to study Haute Couture and later graduated as a Best Nouvelle Couture Graduate. She is now the co-founder and creative director of Mel Ahyar Couture, as well as ready-to-wear labels, MAF, Happa and XY, and regularly participates at Fashion Weeks in Jakarta and Paris. As for the collection, expect some quirky details and one-of-a-kind print you can’t get elsewhere!
