For the January issue of 247 COTTONINK Magazine, we met the girl who’s turning heads in the local Hip-Hop scene right now, Ramengvrl. You’ve probably heard her super-catchy bravado tune appropriately titled, ‘I’m Da Man‘ or her more chilled single Go (I Can Be Your). She is definitely not your stereotypical rapper (rocking a sleek bob with her cat-eyed sunglasses) but you can’t help to see the juxtaposition of her presence in the male-dominated scene as a breath of fresh air. So we chatted with the 25-year-old to know her approach to the Hip-hop style and why she embraced being different! With her wit and uber-confidence, it is very likely we’ll be hearing more from her in the future!
